BoltBrief (“the Extension”) helps users summarize YouTube videos, view transcripts, and (where available) summarize YouTube comments.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension processes, how it is used, and your choices.

1) What the Extension Processes

To provide summarization features, the Extension may process:

• YouTube video URL / video ID
• video metadata (such as title and duration)
• transcripts/captions (when available)
• selected YouTube comments/replies (when comments summary is used)
• generated summaries and related output
• feature settings and usage/quota status

2) Local Storage (on Your Device)

The Extension stores some data locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) to function properly, such as:

• user settings / preferences
• cached transcripts and summaries
• plan / entitlement snapshot
• usage counters
• optional custom prompt settings
